PAUL BOURGET

Owner

Responsibilities:  With over forty-four years of public accounting, asset-based (ABL) field examination and consulting experience. Paul is responsible for customer relations, overall market development, ensuring field examination quality and timely turnaround, as well as directing consulting services. Paul also directs litigation support services in the areas of financial controls, forensic auditing and insurance claim projects.

Experience:    Before establishing, Bourget & Associates, Paul served as the corporate field examination director of Fleet Financial Group, where he was responsible for all field examination disciplines, including ABL, middle market commercial & industrial, workouts and special projects.  While at Fleet, Paul developed and computerized ABL and jewelry & diamond examination procedures and reports.  Paul also provided ABL, diamond, jewelry & precious metal collateral and credit risk seminars to borrowers and lending departments.  
 

Background:    Paul is a graduate of Rhode Island College and a graduate gemologist of the Gemological Institute of America.  He is also a member of the RI Society of CPA’s and AICPA.

NICOLE BOURGET BRIEN

President

Responsibilities:  Day to day operations of our firm including answering the phone, bookkeeping, scheduling exams, liaison between lenders and customers,  and providing scheduling reminders for banks. Also responsible to oversee advertising in financial markets, company exposure at conventions, and always looking to form new relationships with new lending institutions.

Experience:    Over 20 years experience as an administrative assistant and has been running the day to day operations for the past seven years.   

Background:    Executive Secretary/ Administrative Assistant for Katharine Gibbs School.  Also attended Community College of Rhode Island.

Anthony A. Norato

FIELD EXAMINATION MANAGER

Responsibilities:  ABL collateral field examinations, physical inventory procedures, diamond and precious metals accounting.

Experience:    Over 20 years of experience in performing field examinations at Bourget & Associates, Inc. in a wide variety of industries.  Responsible for reviewing all field examination reports generated by the company.  Provide consulting services, including accounting controls reviews, inventory valuations, accounting system conversions, and liquidations.  

Background:    Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Rhode Island.  Diamond grader certified by the Gemological Institute of America

David S. Sennett

SUPERVISORY SENIOR EXAMINER

Responsibilities:  ABL collateral field examinations, physical inventory procedures, diamond and precious metals accounting. Also trains and supervises new field examiners.  

Experience:    Over 17 years field examination experience examining companies in industries ranging from jet engine manufacturing to food service supplies to healthcare providers.   Specializes in the jewelry, wholesale diamond and precious metal industries.  Diamond grader certified by the Gemological Institute of America.  Also has over twenty years experience in retail management including inventory control, cash management, human resources and loss prevention.

Background:    Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island.  Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Rhode Island College

Jesse Dwyer

FIELD EXAMINER

Experience:    20 years of experience in the practice, research and instruction of audit, financial and tax accounting. After working at regional and national CPA firms, he then studied advanced business and economics research as well as computer-aided statistics at the University of Connecticut before becoming an assistant accounting professor Wichita State University. A combination of academic and practical experience assists in the collection, analysis, monitoring and reporting of information from client systems.

Background:    Assistant Professor, Barton School of Business at Wichita State. BS Accounting, MS Accounting, University of Connecticut.  Diamond grader certified by the Gemological Institute of America.
